The President of the Marbella Jewish Community, Raphaël Cohen, and the webmaster, Juanjo Pérez, wants to welcome you to the Community’s web.

Next, you will find a brief explanation about some web’s sections in order to make easier its operation.

Select the month and the day clicking over the pull-down menu, enter the year in the lower box and click over the button called “Convert date”.

Next, the system will show the date.

•    Date converter: If you want to convert a date from the Gregorian calendar into the Hebrew calendar, you must enter the data in the first date selector and click the button called “Convert to Hebrew”. Otherwise, if you want to convert a date from the Hebrew calendar into the Gregorian calendar, you must enter the data in the second date selector and click over the button called “Convert to Civil”.

•    Contact: Fill the form with the data you want to send to the community: suggestions, information about parties, weddings, etc. and click over the button called “Send”.

If you want to receive a copy from your message, you must tick the box “Send a copy from the message to your email”.

•  Search: Here you can find all kinds of information that’s in the web.

There are three types of search:

o    Any word: the system will show the information that contains any of the words that you pointed out.

o    All words: the system will show the information that contains all the shown words, no matter the order.

o    Exact phrase: the system will show the information that contains all the shown words and into the shown order.

•    Calendar: The most complete section of our web. On top you will find four buttons to select different kinds of view.

o    Monthly view: The default view. In the middle of the upper side we find the current month and at each side we have controls at our disposal to look up previous and following months.

By clicking over a day, we go on to daily view.

o    Daily view: Shows a detailed view from the selected day, showing all the events. Also, you can look up previous and following days.

o    Weekly view: Shows the current week’s days in which happens some event. It also has controls to look up other weeks.
